On Saturday, April 15th, my sweet girl Red died. I was gone out of town and she died here at the house with Gus. She was the world to us, the glue in the family factory. There is a hollow place in our world now. We loved you Little Red Dog.

Big huge hugs. I hope you're getting some time to yourself to heal.
It's hard to see a picture of her... And I'm sure it will settle in once I'm over at your house for the first time without her. No matter what, she is still with you Jo. I just know it!
I'm a mom, a wife, a pet-sitter, and a yogi (and an aspiring writer, designer and future restaurant owner). My passion is dogs (four of them) and my crazy son who entertains me and infuriates me. My husband puts up with all of us, sometimes patiently, other times, discordantly. Our home is a pulsating cacophony of barbs and laughter, barks and yells. We try to adapt to something that seems normal but from where we started, we have a long road. What we know is that we love each other and appreciate this crazy life. Presented before you is a daily tirade of bullshit that intersects my world and either sends me into a spirited embrace of this current path I'm on or pisses me off to the point of spewing insanities and hateful curses. Meanwhile, the spirit of Reddog, namesake of this blog, hovers under foot, sniffing deep hrumphs!, rattling at the dog bowl and reminding us everyday to appreciate what you've got because you never know when you may lose it. Keep checking in, I promise fun, laughs and irritating opinions.
